Alastair Buchan
Alastair began his career in Financial Services in 1988 and in 1996 was invited to join St. James's Place (formerly J. Rothschild Partnership).
As Director of Buchan Wealth Management, Alastair’s focus is to build and maintain long-term relationships with both our private and business clients. Alastair understands that excellent service means something different to everyone so our dedicated and friendly team at BWM strive to exceed client expectations by putting them firmly at the centre of everything we do.
We firmly believe that providing our clients with clear, reliable and appropriate advice is the key to assisting in planning a secure financial future, which gives that all important “peace of mind”
Originally from Peterhead, Alastair has a great knowledge of the local area and is regularly attends our Peterhead office for client meetings, he is also a regular traveller to Shetland to visit clients.
Outside of the office Alastair enjoys everything outdoors, hillwalking, ice climbing….. .in spring 2022 he completed a polar trek in Greenland with other member of St. James's Place raising vital funds for the Charitable Foundation and the Polar Academy.
